I disagree but beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Don't get me wrong I don't think it's as good looking as the Stokes Federal Court House Building (not many buildings are). This would be a very nice addition along a stretch of Euclid currently dominated by 200 Public Square.

We have different tastes. I also think the Stokes building is ugly, and its prominence in views of Cleveland skyline from the west is jarring and unfortunate.

I don't think the Stokes building is "ugly" per se... but I've always had the misgiving that it didn't really fit in well with the rest of the skyline. Still do.

I detest it's top, but you're right on about the skyline.

I did not like the building until I saw it in person. Initially I thought the building was clad in steel. I really like the building; however, it does seem out of place. Once the area adjacent to it is fully built out it may fit in. I like the crown though. I also like the windows

Wow! That would be YUGE! Although I'm not sure it's the best use for prime real estate, it might make the most sense given it's proximity to Burke. Regardless of location, that would be great for the entire region.

Also on another note, I could not be more proud of this city and happy for the way things went during the RNC. They said the city would burn, but Cleveland is on fire for all the right reasons. And with that I'm especially grateful for CPD and the other law enforcement agencies which ensured the safest major convention in decades, as well as the crews who kept the streets clean making sure Cleveland showed her true beauty for all the world to see.
