I might be moving to Wilmington next year if a job prospect comes through, but I'm wondering if I should use the relo money to just pay a moving company (Mayflower, NAVL, etc.) or try to do it myself? Does anyone know a good guestimate for the cost of moving a 2bd/2ba house to like-sized house in Wilmington from Houston? I'm guessing about 4k, but I could be way under budget on that. Just wondering if anyone has any experience in that area. Thanks much.

We were told by our relo company that our 3 bed/2 bath house to move from MI to Wilmington would run just under $7,000. We had just at 12,000 lbs. Liz
