Winding River has built 650 homes with a build out of 1200, their beach house is on Holden beach.

Ocean Ridge has built 600 homes with a build out of 2500, their beach house is on Sunset beach.

OOPS, meant to say.... if parking is a problem now it might get worse.

If beaches are very important to you and want crystal clear ocean....you need to go to the panhandle of Florida. I am from Connecticut and have lived in Destin area for 12 years. The beaches are as white as sugar and the Gulf is typically an emerald green color. You can definitely stand in the water up to your chin and see your toes. Being from the Northeast , we were stunned that the USA had water and beaches so similar to the Caribbean. But, airports are a pain, almost everything is a stopover in Atlanta.
