Charter Internet - Carolina Beach (home, buy, live)

Morning,

I'll be moving to Carolina Beach, from downtown, in a couple weeks and I'm hearing mixed reviews about Charters services on the island. I work from home full time and need to find reliable service.

Can any locals let me know their experience? Anyone work from home full time - connected all day - and have issues?

As far as I can see Charter is my only option. I'm really hoping that the stories I'm hearing are the exception and I won't be force to find a co-working location once I make this move. I'd hate to move to such a beautiful location and then have to leave each day for work.

No answers to your questions regarding charter. However I work with people who live on an island in Maine. They use a satellite Internet company and they work 8hrs a day without issues. If the stories you hear are true maybe that's another option for you. I'd also see what modem and router charter uses. Research them cause sometimes they aren't the best. If you can buy your own that'd be the way to go.
