Many problems at OR. Community was sued for 650k but lawsuit settled and community paid 250k. Developer promised amenities. Lack of those amenities resulted in overcrowding at our pool and gym. Builder not maintaining its property like the front entrance...no grass cutting, no more landscaping...no watchman service. At Old Gtown entrance, railroad type arm with colored ribbons. No landscaping. Chained up at will so residents living in that section have to drive 8 miles more to get to their homes. Developer not maintaining ponds .... green with scum and algae.
I recently purchased property in OR. I plan to retire there. This news deeply concerns me. I live in CT. and can only get there once or twice a year. Was just wondering what the HOA plans are regarding this issue. Not much info on the ORMA site.
Just found out this past weekend that Troon purchased the 4 courses at St James Plantation for 36 Million....

An investor bought Sea Trail and from all accounts the courses are well maintained and well run.
The developer of St. James recently sold those clubs to Troon Prive who has been managing them for years.
