If the sand is too hot for your feet, it's too hot for paws, FYI.

My Wife and I took a day trip to Wilmington accompanied by our Airedale. There is a dog friendly restaurant on the boardwalk the name of which escapes me now. We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch on the deck.

My wife's family has a summer home in Kure Beach and we visit there often. We brought our two dogs on our recent trip to KB and were able to take the pups to swim at Ft. Fisher. They had to be leashed but it was a great time and the weather was much nicer than our nasty heat and humidity in Central Florida. We didn't venture out for eats, except for a trip for some donuts at Britt's in Carolina Beach. Hope y'all have wonderful trip!

Hi Vinny536
We had a great visit. Going to come back again this coming weekend as well. I am looking at NHRMC. I am actually planning on attending a nursing open house there on Saturday morning. I have been unable to find anybody on this forum or any of my nursing forums that I subscribe to, that is willing to quote any kind of a number regarding pay rates. Everybody says the pay is "very bad" or "less than all other parts of the state" etc . I do believe somebody replied that they were offered a little less than $20 hr base pay being a new grad. I have many years of experience so knowing what new grads are being offered isn't all that helpful.

I remain hopeful : ) I did really like the area : )
