Hello,

After 20 years with the same company my job was eliminated. I live in Connecticut and would like to move to North Carolina to open a doggy day care or purchase a boarding kennel. I need suggestions as to where a doggie day care is needed. All the data I have read says it should be in an area where there are a lot of two income families and empty nesters. Also, if you know of a boarding kennel for sale please let me know. I really appreciate you input. Thank you

You might want to contact the folks at Dog Living Magazine. They are local and produce a nice little publication for dog owners. And they would obviously have a handle on the market as far as saturation and the possible need for such a business. They might be able to provide some valuable information for you. If not, maybe they'll be able to steer you in the right direction. Just a thought. Good luck!

I doubt another dog day care would be successful here...the Wilmington area. The area does need a mobile pet groomer.

I thought of doing the same thing before I moved here. Once I got here, I realized they are everywhere here Not to say there wouldn't be room for one more, but this is just my observation.
