I am a first-time homebuyer (just browsing right now knowing prices will continue to go down). But I found a house that I really like and am considering buying if I can get it for a good price. It's in the Huntington Forest neighborhood. I've driven past the neighborhood after it rains and noticed very flooded streets (although the houses seemed fine).

Does anyone know how bad the flooding is? I don't want to buy a house that has a high risk of flooding.

Also does anyone know how kid-friendly it is? Is it a friendly neighborhood overall? How are the neighbors? I am a mom and educated professional and would like to live in a peaceful (yet affordable) neighborhood.

Does the neighborhood have a lot of crime?
