I am considering moving to Moyock, in one of the new home developments, however, I am getting more and more concerned about flooding in the area. Can anyone who has lived there for a long period of time tell me if there has ever been an issue with floods.

This might be a good time for a road trip, you we're going to visit the area first?.

With hurricane Florence recently departed, as the roads are cleared I would be there in a flash. Nothing beats seeing for yourself the conditions after a big rain event.

Don't trust what real estate agents and the sellers of a piece of property say.
