Any suggestions for an overnight in Wilmington? We have a hotel & had planned to visit nephew at UNC. He's not going to be there this weekend, so we're just looking for a good Saturday night meal & Sunday brunch recommendation.
Also, we will be with my 12 year old niece, so we're also looking for some "sights" to see -- walking areas or interactive spots. I'm not able to walk great distances so a hike in a park is not happening.
Am I correct that Wilmington has a lot to see? We're inquisitive people and do like to tour. Thanks!

Though walking is involved, the USS North Carolina is an excellent venue. We used to take our 8th graders on a field trip every year. They were totally engaged, and many reported that they convinced their families to take a return trip.

Good luck.

I never heard of it before, but it sounds like a good place to take a teenager.

Not just walking... climbing ladders, maneuvering through very narrow halls and stepping over/around things that might trip you. Dark corridors. I had issues with feeling claustrophobic. Just throwing my 2 cents in.
