I haven't seen an active thread on the coastal NC forum about the Coronavirus. There's been one confirmed case in Craven County.

https://wcti12.com/news/local/covid-...-craven-county

Schools are closed until March 30th.

I drove to Sam's Club in Jacksonville today. The shelves were empty. There wasn't any toilet paper, paper towels, bottled water, cleaning products including bleach, Emergen-C, canned vegetables, bread, etc. Most of the fresh meat was also gone. An associate told me the store opens at 7:00 AM for Plus Members and aforementioned paper products are gone by 7:30.

One confirmed case in Brunswick County. Governor has closed all schools statewide through March 27.

People need to stop with the panic buying!

One case in Wayne County.

A friend of mine works at Franklin Baking in Goldsboro and he said that the stores were picked clean. He also said that the bakery was considering shutting down, but so far he's still working (usually night shifts).

At the time of my post, the possible case in Brunswick County is not confirmed. Please don't confuse presumptive with confirmed. We should know something today or by tomorrow if it is a confirmed case.

According to the Center for Disease Control (CDC), a presumptive positive result is when a patient has tested positive by a local public health laboratory, but when those results are still pending confirmation at a CDC lab.

At this point and who knows for how much longer, presumptive is all we have to go on. The CDC is barely testing anything according to its own website.

Traffic in Greenville was way off today. It looked more like a Sunday than a Monday.
