May be coming up and starting at Nags Head and working my way down the Outer Banks to come back into the Morehead City Area.

I know I can look this up, but wanted to ask someone who has done this.

Where will I need to take the ferrys at?
Which ones do you suggest?

I def. want to visit Hatteras and Ocracoke

1. Drive from Nags Head to Hatteras
2. Take the ferry to Ocracoke
3. Take the ferry to Cedar Island
4. Drive to Morehead City

Is it going to rain tomorrow? I know I could look up the forecast myself, but I thought maybe somebody already knows and could tell me. I definitely don't want to get wet.

Please don't do this anytime soon. Not a good time to travel now. Covid is hitting Hyde Co/Ocracoke pretty hard.

You might want to decide where you'll go if you get sick.

I've done this several times, on quick trips while house-hunting on both Hatteras Island and Emerald/PKS/AtlBeach over the past several years. (Lots served by sewer are too small for my liking!)

All that really matters is the ferrry schedule and ferry bookings. You MUST call ahead and reserve a place during our current WuHooFlu paradigm. First and last trips are in VERY high demand.

That's not all that really matters. The Banks are busier than usual since everybody wants to go somewhere. I know this post is old, and the OP may have already traveled. But anybody wanting to visit should check for rental availability before leaving home.
