Prices here in the Triangle are getting out of hand as many stations are raising prices over $4.50 for regular!! This is a $1 increase in less than a day.

I truly hope that these stations who are upping their prices from $3.50's a gallon to up to $5 something a gallon in just a few hours, have an employee who makes a typo with the decimal the next time they try this crap and end up having the gas going for 55 cents/gallon for a whole day before they catch the error.

Karma.

Guess what! 5am this morning the gas price was $4.39 a gallon.

75 cents in 36 hours.

This is all quite fascinating. Last night on the news it was said that the Gulf produced 6%of the US gasoline.

Gov. Mike Easley on Friday implemented the state's price-gouging law.

The never ending saga....................
This morning at 6:30AM I noticed the price fell to $3.99/gallon.
By the way-This particular gas station in Morehead City also raised gas priced .10-.11 cents a gallon 2-3 days before 4th of July and also Labor Day weekend.
Shades of yester-year!
Bill
