It's very pretty but the design isn't going to age well at all. It looks like a modern Springhill Suites.

The ceiling looks half-assed. Looks like something I would see in a Lowe's or Home Depot.

Now that I look at it again, it does look like a nice 2.5-3 star hotel on the outside. One of the nice ones with free hot breakfast in the mornings.

I'd also love to see a "North Hills" type of development. I'm hoping that's what the Dickinson Ave area will turn into. I don't expect 17-20 story buildings anytime soon in Greenville, but anything in the 8-10 story range would be great to see.

This building is gorgeous both inside and outside. The "industrial" look to it brings certainly accentuates its charm. Ideas for this building was based on similarities from the Tidewater area (at least from what I heard). I think this is the best looking building in Greenville. It needs more constructional ideas like this.

ECU mentioned in their pitch to the UNC BOG for the Millennial Campus that they wanted the area near Blount Fields at Charles and the Blvd. designated because the foresee the area turning into a "North Hills-y" type situation (Live/Work/Play/Stay).

Publix shopping center appears to be step 1. Extensive GVL mall renovations have been rumored for a while (at one point I heard something crazy like an eventual $90 million investment, which is what caused Mellow Mushroom to locate there).

Who knows...

That area is zoned for commercial, correct? I am really surprised they haven't built all along that side of Arlington yet. There is a ton of vacant space out there.
