Swansboro Flotilla (retire, parking, best place)

I know it's next Friday but I don't know much else about it. I've been to the Swansborofestivals site but there isn't any real information. Where is the best place to see it and where is the best place to park?

We have managed to make it the area flotillas over the last few years. The Swansboro flotilla is a nice celebration in that it is usually fairly easy to find a spot to watch.

If you wander Front Street you will see people gather along the water in two or three different spots. Any of those will work. Parking is a bigger challenge.

It is Swansboro so you just have to get there early. You can usually find a spot off some of the side streets. You might go try up by the bank.

Here is a post with pictures about the 2006 event. It is not a huge event, but we have enjoyed it especially when the weather is warm like it is now.
