Yep-The first signs of spring! Porpoises, Pelicans and Geese!
Porpoises and pelicans show up in bays, sounds, backwaters and creeks in February. The Geese (Canadian Geese) show up to have babies!
The only thing left for Febrauary to give us is the traditional 4-6 days of unusually warm temperatures!
Bill
PS: I was crossing the high rise bridge between Morehead and Radio Island today and saw a very large pod of poprpoises (bottle nosed dolphin) playing around.

I've been hearing the tree frogs singing at night--aren't they known as spring peepers?

As of early last week, the Geese have arrived in my office parking lot here in Raleigh. Spring is on its way!

The sure signs of spring...real estate agents foaming at the mouth for a whole new year of suckers. Scam away boys and girls.
