Wilmington or Southport need a (bigger) port. I assume Wilmington can't be expanded more, so that is why they are going to Southport. But if Southport gets it, they would need a four lane divided highway there. River Road won't cut it. But in between the "port", Sunny Point and extending I-140 to the Cape Fear Skyway it should get built.
