The mall? You think its a good one...?
The people? Besides the college students, yes most people are ghetto or white trash.
Just read the paper and you can see the crime reports all over greenville, even the "good" areas
Gas station, atm, and fast food robberies- again, look at the paper. I think Sonic was robbed at gunpoint again 2 nights ago...
Oh and there is ONE good independent restaurant. Thats it. This town doesnt have to be NYC, most little towns have more than just crappy chain restaurants. No wonder why there are so many fat asses around greenville

I don't get why you people are all about this town. It sucks and its only getting worse

I have lived here for two years. I agree: the town is an absolute freaking joke. No culture, crappy restaurants...Basils and Finelli's.....fine dining....really????

Jacked-up four wheel drive trucks everywhere with deer head stickers or Calvin peeing on something on the back window and more fat people than I've ever seen.

No shopping, no art, no theater (I'm not referring to the movie kind, either). Hell, you can't even get a NY Times at the Starbucks. Oh, and the local TV news: where do they find these rejects???? There's a sports guy who wears the same black t-shirt and brown blazer every night. Doesn't he know that look went away in about 1998???

I will agree that the people are very nice. Clueless, insipid, and provencial, but nice.

There is a large theater at ECU, where there are many shows (I also believe Ludacris or someone like that performed there). What about the Greenville MOA? Basils is good, but you are right, it is not fine dining. That's what Chef's 505 and even The Daily Grind and Plum Street Bistro and last but not least University Chophouse is for. I love the local news, I watched New York news all my life and I find it funny the news casters here aren't so serious, I actually enjoy watching the news. If you want The MOMA, The New York Times, World-Class Restaurants and a Broadway show every night move to New York and pay $3,000 a month (or more) for a rat infested apartment
