I have a large collection of matchbox ,johnny lighting and hot wheel cars from the 1990s never opened . James Bond movie series cars not opened as well as other popular tv shows and NASCAR i even have matchbox candy, and games etc.I am interested in selling all my collection as i have lost interest and have boxed them up.I know their is some valve here as i have seen some of these cars on ebay for $24.00 each plus shipping. I have so many cars and have just started looking in the box's and i cannot believe how many i have.I am really motivated in selling all of them.

So who are the DEALERS that buy entire collections? Realizing they won't pay top dollar but will take an entire collection - are there a few names I can go to?

I have about 1,000 hot wheels, matchbox, farm, coca cola, etc. Dating from 1992 to 2007. Don't want to sell individually. They are in the original packages. Where can I go with this?

Flea market. Most aren't worth much if even the original retail price. However there are a few from the last 20 year worth some bucks. You can find out within ones on the net somewhere.

The good news is that for most cars you bought at retail, you can get up to about 50% of your cost if you spend months schlepping them to flea markets and swap meets.

The bad news is that if you want to sell together you will be selling to a dealer, at no more than 10 to 25% of your cost. Sorry, I feel your pain. I have several thousand hotwheels that I would be THRILLED to sell at 50 cents on the dollar, but not a couple at a time!

Go onto ebay and check the prices. Type in your car and model, then click on Completeds. Completeds will tell you if it sold and what price it sold for. You could set up an account and sell them on ebay if you wanted to. You need to be able to take pictures and set up an account. Then you need to be able to package them up and ship them out. It's not that hard.
