That's unfortunate, but they're still more than capable of winning a national title without those guys. They are absolutely loaded at the tail position - like LSU they go about four or five deep, so their ground game is going to go right on marching like nothing happened. A loss of Lacy or TJ Yeldon might be a different matter, but even then, if it's just one or even two RBs, Bama's running game won't skip a beat. I would say Eddie Lacy would be harder to replace, if he went down, because even though Yeldon is more versatile and athletic, Alabama has about two or three guys who fit that same description. Lacy, however, brings a battering ram on cleats. If Lacy goes down, then we can begin to speculate about the possible damage to the Crimson Tide's title hopes.

The one concern for Bama (as LSU had earlier in the year) is that injuries or suspensions this early in the season raises the issue of depth later in the year. But every team is going to have those issues come up during the season. Alabama is easily the deepest team in the country. Georgia and LSU are deep, too, but neither of those teams appear to have found their identity yet; Alabama, on the other hand, very much has found their identity, and it's more of the same from last year.

Did you watch LSU's last two games? If so, your statement is ludicrous.

You can't judge how LSU will play Alabama by that game. Ask any TRUE LSU fan or anyone who knows about this game. Secondly, any LSU fan will tell you how lucky LSU is in the fourth quarter. You obviously are clueless. Thirdly... its just Alabama Kool Aid.
