I was wondering why there wasn't a thread for Bama football, so here it is. That was a close call last night. Luckily, our offense woke up at the very end of the game. It seemed like A.J. was nervous or snake bitten for almost all of the second half.

AJ is a stand up guy and a good quarterback. What a comeback! That game will probably shut LSU down for a long time. That was huge. Nick Saban has my complete respect now. It is what it is. It hurts but its true

Thanks. I agree about AJ. Also, I do think Saban is a great coach. He has the respect of his team, and that is important.
Yeldon is going to be awesome. He is a true freshman, and he is so crazy good already.
Yeah, they were saying that he might be the best Bama back in HISTORY. That is really saying something, but after what I saw last night, I wouldn't be surprised.
Hats off the Alabama for a ice in the veins comeback. I didn't think it could be done and they have my total respect. LSU just got their heart ripped out, talk about a BAD BEAT. It's like someone hit a straight flush on the river while you were holding a full house after the flop. Ouch.
Anyway, anything less than an Oregon/Bama National championship will be a let down. Notre Dame? Give me a break. Yeah, you have to be good to go 9-0, but seriously. Kansas State? Well, everyone has to get a screwing from the BCS, it happens every year, so congratulations.
Oregon has the toughest road to being undefeated. It will be interesting.
I don't think anyone can stand up to Obama, not even Oregon. They are just unstoppable this year.
I don't know if this is true or not. Bama did not look good for most of last night's game, and if LSU had been able to capitalize on more of our mistakes we would not have been able to win. So, it depends on who shows up to play, and if we are nervous or not. It is hard to remember that these are just boys, and they know the whole nation, except Bama fans, wanted them to lose.
All last night proved was that if Alabama played a real schedule instead of a cream puff schedule they would get destroyed. They are OBVIOUSLY not the best team in the country.
Whose schedule do you believe is that much tougher? LSU is not a cream puff.
I look at the games I have seen think we may have just seen the best game of the year.Basically they played to a draw with a miracle finish by alabama.I was really shocked with the play of the LSU offense and knew they had a great defense.Anyone playing Bama better have a great defense with alot of depth :IMO.

I was impressed with LSU too. Their quarterback seemed to come into his own, and their receivers made some amazing catches.
