Not to the same degree. For starters, the offense gets to play at its chosen tempo. And defenders have to pursue the play whereas most of the offense only has to concern itself with blocking. Blocking requires less energy than tracking down a play.

HA ,, i thought it was over then .. i`d be really mad if i`d seen bama go up 31 to 28 then still lose ... so many goofball callers on paul whinebaum show want to blame Jalen .. i lost what little respect i had for that show when paul agreed with most of them ...
Jalen got Alabama the lead with only 2 minutes left in the game.

Anytime your quarterback does that, your defense should be able to stop the other team from marching down the field and scoring a touchdown.

On another note, the best NFL prospect on the field that night was Mike Williams. Watson will be a "good" pro but Mike Williams has star written all over him.
Williams is going to drive some team absolutely nuts in the NFL. Probably multiple teams.

First, the team he's drafted to, and second every other team.

Why the team that drafts him? He's going to be hurt. He's also going to have a relatively short career due to the injuries.

Remember, he missed the game last year due to a broken neck. His style of play leads to bad (for a WR) injuries. He'll probably have concussion issues.

But.. When he's healthy.. He's going to put lots of points on the board for you.

I'd certain take him.. If he's still available.. And.. If you're not picking in the top 10.. I'd say it's unlikely he will be.
