GO POKES!

Homecoming tonight against Mizzou. Gabbert with a lingering injury, Kendall back in action and Dez out. Hopefully we come out on top.

Some other Big XII notes:

Tech just went up 21-0 on Nebraska in Lincoln. Wow!

UT/OU. Holy defense! I know they are 3-3, but I still say OU is a top 25 team and they should end up in the Cotton/Holiday when it's all said and done. Three losses by 5 points, two teams in the top 10.

I hope USC puts a BIG spanking on Notre Dame! I'd love to see Weis in the news conference after a 40 point loss at home to USC. Please gods, I'm begging!

They shut Shipley down effectively. I don't think any of the remaining teams on our schedule will be able to do so. OU has a great defense, despite the losses.

Perrish Cox held down AJ Green, so I have faith we can give Shipley something. Coming to Stillwater will be a challenge for the Horns. Hopefully we don't choke.

I've been saying all along, Texas Tech is pretty good. They should have been ranked when they played Texas; and just look at who their losses were -- #2/3 Texas, and at Houston to a team that was at the peak of their cinderella story. Both were close losses. Tech should be ranked.

Yes, playing in Stillwater this year is probably the biggest remaining challenge we have. I know the Pokes must be seeking revenge for certain embarrassing big come-from-behind victories by Texas... But we do tend to be pretty good on the road... hopefully this year you can get your revenge on your in-state rivals instead of us.

Oh, I know they are good. I'm just surprised they are up 21-0 in Lincoln. Helu is getting some touches so I wouldn't be surprised if the Huskers get back in it.

Congrats on your win today by the way.

Some of the biggest choke jobs ever. The 2007 game made me want to quit sports altogether. Just terrible.
