That game is an aberration, not the norm by a long shot. Bama got the wind taken out of it's sails by the SEC CG loss. Face it, put TCU or Boise St. in the SEC and their 6-3 or 7-2 at best.
Florida would have Tebow and most of it's starters sitting on the bench by halftime playing some of the lightweights TCU and Boise St. do and still put 55 on em.
Hey, at 7-2, they both would have better records than every other SEC team this year besides Bama and UF.

Boise St., yeah.
But you're still underestimating how good TCU and the MWC is.
Besides, TCU SHOULD be in the Big XII right now. But thanks to Ann Richards, we may never see that happen.
Utah is 2-0 in BCS Games. I would say the norm is that they win.
BSU is 1-0 in BCS games.
Non BCS conf teams are 3-1 is BCS games.
The norm is that they win more often than they lose.

Has Nebraska played a really potent offense though? Their defense looking good against OU doesn't mean anything this year.. Jones couldn't complete a pass, even when their weak OL actually got him some time. The play calling by OU became ridiculous during the second half of the game, too. Texas has scored 34 or more points in every game except one. And that one (OU) was largely due to an incredibly bad 1st half for the Texas O, not so much the OU defense.
OU can make all the excuses they want from last weeks game in Lincoln, but the fact is the Nebraska D took OU's offense out of the game and forced turnovers. How good is the Nebraska D? I have no idea, they are pretty good though.
If Nebraska can get by K-State and see Texas in the Big12 Championship, we will see. As mentioned earlier, unless Nebraska's offense (which did surprising well saturday) can actually pull their heads out of their asses, 10 points may be enough for Texas to take that game.
If I were placing money on it, I would go with Texas by 14 or more.
I'd like to see TCU join the big 12. Possibly along with either Tulsa or Houston.
I'd like to see TCU and Houston join the Big 12. I think TCU is one of the best teams in football period (the BCS and other polls agree). They've been very strong in recent years and Houston is a much better team overall too. I know it will probably never happen, but adding these teams would make the Big 12 even more competative IMO.
