IF Brazil is your target, why limit yourself geographically to the US? Why not an MBA from a quality Brazilian or South American program? If you are going to be a global MBA you need to start thinking out of the box. You can get it done in 1 year and save tuition and housing costs that way and are out of the job market for 1 year instead of 2...

Thunderbird came to mind for me too when you mentioned that you are targeting markets in Brazil.

I met a current Thunderbird student a few weeks ago and had a nice discussion with him about their program (he saw my GMAT book and started talking about his MBA experiences). He spent a full semester studying in Brazil and is back there again now working on some projects through people he met. He was able to learn a lot about their culture and network with several local Brazilian business people. It sounded like Thunderbird was heavily networked with South American and Latin American markets, which may make it a good option for you.

And I agree with the last poster as other alternatives - if you want to work somewhere outside the US - there are several non-US schools that will have much better networking opportunities internationally and it only takes 1-year to complete your MBA with most of the international business schools.

Only problem is that thunderbird is one of the top international MBA schools you can find and has the price tag to match

It really is a global program though that is networked very well - part of the curriculum is study abroad and you need to be 2nd language proficient to graduate

They have a distance learning MBA that focuses on Latin America ... here is a link to the curriculum - very solid and thought out path

Curriculum - Thunderbird School of Global Management

Also, one thing to note and I'm sure it's something you already know if brazil is your target - but when looking at foreign language and some of these programs, while spanish is great for the majority of latin america and it won't hurt you in brazil - you will need to pick up portuguese in brazil as it's their official language
