You can make up for your mistakes in high school through CC. I am finishing my A.S. this week and will go onto a four year college in the fall, however my Associates Degree took me 3 years instead of 2. Check with the CC you plan on attending for Articulation agreements with nearby four year schools for a smooth transfer, unless you want to go the dorming out-of-state route, my college accepted all my credits in their rightful places but not all do. If you have a College you want to go to in mind out of state, ASK them ahead of time (I didn't but I should have) what courses to take. I would also recommend finishing your Associates, you can get scholarships and more transferability that way.
