I see this is at least the second thread you've started about film school. I continue to think that it's probably pretty hard to make a career in the film industry, so it's wise for you to be investigating the advantages of various ways to get started.
I'm inclined to doubt that this six-month program in rural Canada is it. I think what you need to do, and I'm not sure where this information is available, is to find somewhere where people who already work in the film industry can provide information about how they got into the industry, what kind of education they had, where they look to find new employees, and things like that.
Whether this means going to a real four year college or doing something else, I don't know. I do think, though, that you should thoroughly investigate any school you're thinking about attending, including their record for placing graduates in career employment in the industry you're interested in.
