These lists never make much sense; their criteria typically rely on some hair-splitting, subjective, tortured logic understood only by the author of these fluff pieces. City-data is regularly home to people discussing the weirdness of these rankings. The only thing that matters to anyone is what city works best for them, there simply is no best, though there are valid factors to likability.

No, they're not scientific. But it is interesting how often Colorado Springs seems to rank high in them.
