I had already settled with insurance so they own it now. I just wanted to see him go to jail.

I'm truly in shock that he wasn't arrested.

I don't get it ... the police can certainly looked into who he bought it from, if indeed he's not the one who stole it. I know you feel discouraged, but if it were me, I'd be at the police station raising holy h__l. This is crazy.

I've barely begun. One way or another something is going to happen. Let's just say when a young girl with kids is involved with the wrong people, she is probably gonna talk when the poo comes down.

For the police, its not worth the resources to investigate it. The insurance company has paid off on it. Its Not "Yours" anymore, The Insurance company really does not care that much, to harness the police to keep the investigation open.

The guy who he "bought it from", All i know is his name is "Bill" we meet at the Walmart parking lot, I looked it over and paid him cash. ...

So the cops are going to look for some guy named "Bill" who had a Dodge Pickup? And posted a CL ad?

Bingo. Which is why I'm doing my own detective work.

I went to my insurance company today to tell them the trailer was impounded. She called someone at state farm and they said the whole scenario sounded status quo. So no, they won't pursue.

Here's an interesting part. State farm will let me know when the auction is and item # and I can go bid on it or at the least see what it goes for.

What does impounded mean? Well, I know what impounded mean ... just curious about the chain of events. Does this mean that the guy who "bought it" no longer has it? If that's the case, that's something anyway.

I don't know if I could bear to watch something stolen from me go to auction, unless I was the one who won the auction!

Keep us posted.
