Hey I'm only 3 months old to COS and I noticed that there are NO Krispy Kremes here. I've seen where you can get them in gas stations, but no Krispy Kreme shops. So with no Krispy Kreme here, where do the residents think the best doughnuts in town are?

Krispy Kreme used to be here. They were here and gone so fast.

Dunkin Donuts is an option. The Donut Mill in Woodland Park too!

Krispy Kreme was in Colorado Springs for about 4 years. It was located near the Citadel Mall. They closed in Jan of 2006. I usually just get donuts from King Soopers.

Go to the Donut Mill up in Woodland Park. Sure, it's a long way to go for doughnuts. It's worth it. No grease. Almost like a piece of cake with a hole in it. You'll wonder why you ever went to Krispy Kreme.

Postal you silly!!!

Usually the " Krispy Kreme" are being sold at church functions. Also, Walmart. WEIRD!!

I think that they are very good ( even though I am NOT a sweet fan, so to speak).
Good Luck finding a actual "store". ANYONE????

Agreed, seconded, thirded (wait, I can't third that can i?) and over all a thumbs up.

When Krispy Kreme was here I never went. I've heard opinions on both sides and I don't eat many sweets anyway.

There aren't many Dunkin' Donuts and I used to like them alot.

Dang, even though I don't eat many sweets I am hungry for a fresh donut now!

Good article. I just figured Krispy Kreme hadn't made it's way into Colorado Springs yet. I didn't know you had one before. I'm not a big fan of dougnuts either, but sometimes it's nice just to go out and get them for breakfast. No more than once every 3 months though; too sweet to have them on a regular basis as breakfast. I lived in North Carolina for awhile and there was this little local doughnut shop. Although their doughnuts didn't look like the nicest, they were good and homemade. I'll definitely check the Donut Mill out sometime. Thanks everyone

You could go get donuts at the top of Pikes Peak

I never cared for Krispy Kreme. If I want a donut I'll go for Dunkin Donuts.
