Some of you may enjoy taking a look at this site. It's fascinating and historically interesting.

Using vintage photos and Google's technology, you're able to view the past and the present at the same time. Images from the past (some go back to the 1800s) are superimposed over Google street view photos (where Google cameras have been). You fade out the vintage photos to see the underlying current image for interesting juxtapositions.

There are a fair number of Colorado Springs and Manitou Springs photos. It's fun to find places familiar and/or near to you. You can upload your own photographs as well - places, streets, buildings, etc., and see the results, but only if there is a corresponding Google image. For instance, vintage photos of Cripple Creek fade to black because Google hasn't been there yet (last time I looked).

These images span the globe, with many recognizable landmarks in Europe and elsewhere.

Sorry about the stupid title - it's because I kept getting a message that what I was using was already used on other threads ... didn't know that was a thing. After three edits, I gave up.

There actually is something called the Way Back Machine, too - fyi - it is something that does the same thing for web pages - it pulls up archives of what websites looked like in the past. So you go can go see what your local paper's website looked like twenty years ago, for example. https://archive.org/web/
