My family and I just moved to the Denver area from a southern state. We wanted to have seasons and white christmases for our son. Obviously we got screwed (no damn snow). We'll be headed to Breckenridge for Christmas.

Does anyone know where in town the sledding scene from "National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation" was filmed? We're HUGE film geeks and get a kick out of patronizing film spots in a new state. Is i Carter Park? We've never ben there so we don't know. Thanks so much!

When we lived in Silverthorne, the local lore always placed much of the NLCV sled shooting scenes in the Frisco/Dillon area, right by WalMart.....and it snows alot there, LOL.....

But post #23 on here http://www.cyclonefanatic.com/forum/...acation-2.html is more descriptive than that.....
