Amendment 66 is an income tax increase to fund schools. I'm against.
Proposition AA is the sales tax on marijuana. I'm for.

I'm voting no on 66 too. I have a family member who's a rural district school teacher and she said that 66 is about Hickenlooper taking tax money to send to big Denver schools and it WILL go to big admin and not to help students.

I am voting for amendment AA and no on amendment 66. I, am, also voting for a local amendment to raise sales taxes 1/2 percent for local non-profit organizations.

Already voted no on Amendment 66 mostly because the numbers that the pro side is using are complete crap. My state income tax rate would rise from 4.6% to 5.9%. That's an increase of $2000 per year...on top of medical premiums that are going to rise $2400 per year and prescription drug costs that are going to rise by $3000 per year. Additionally Colorado ranks in the top 10 nationally in student outcomes and my district already has music and gym classes. It's a money grab and it gives the legislature free reign to change the income levels for the levels for the rate tiers. It's a bad piece of legislation.
