Hot and steamy is for romance, not climate. Austin is OUT.

Well, given my 'romance' in Denver so far, maybe I should have gone further down my list of relocatories. Austin was about number four to consider. (But I think the weather would have ended that consideration.)

For lots of educated, interesting women both NYC and DC have many excellent prospects. Go east!

The problem with Austin is its location. Great city. Surrounded by Texas, ffs.

Average price for a house in the Denver area is 600k and cost of living keeps going up.

Fort Collins and Colorado Springs seem better alternatives for housing options.

When I was vacationing in FL, I recall several conversations with people down there who perceive CO as all snow, all the time. Once explaining to them we do have regular summers and heat waves, they still would shake their head and say they couldn't imagine ever living anyplace that had snow and freezing temps. There are some people out there who simply don't care and won't try to escape heat and humidity.

Well, that's because everyone knows that Denver is up in the mountains.

That's why I love it when the Broncos are playing on TV in Denver during a snow storm. It always snows in Colorado!

Stay in Florida, please!
