I totally agree with you. I was in the same situation coming from Louisiana. When I first got here 90s without humidity was heaven. I could never understand people complaining about it being too hot here - I guess they have never experienced summer in the deep South

Funny thing I learned about coors. When I was visiting the mine out in Idaho Springs, one of the residents was telling about the water they use to make their beer. All I am saying is this, they don't drink Coors. If you like to know why, I say visit Argo Mine and they'll tell ya.

Bronc's - I hope to see a better year out of them, but I am not going to expect much. They seem to have bad mojo these days against the Raiders, Cheifs and Redskins.

Yep, Betasso is a great place to ride. Start in Boulder, ride up the canyon to Sugarloaf, knock out a few laps, then descend back down and pop back onto the canyon just below the tunnel.

Sadly, Betasso looks ripe for a good fire. That's an indication of just how dry conditions are. I wish it'd rain.

Mike, thanks for sharing your photos. Looks like you had a great trip!
And Shuffler, this whole area was getting very scary (fire danger). All it would have taken is one dry thunderstorm or one idiot in the canyon tossing a cig butt. BUT we've received almost 3" of rain in the past couple of days - YIPPEE!
