I have lived here 31 years. I deplore the attitude towards Texans, always have. Maybe it has to do with the 'anti-easterner' attitude that was prevalent when we moved here. It made me hate all the 'nativism', whether aimed at Texans, Californians, New Yorkers or whoever.
