I have zero against Denny's. I'm just sayin'. There are lots of things that are very, very South Carolinian. Shrimp and grits. Mustard-based bbq sauce. Beach music. (And before we all start getting nitpicky, I'm aware that several of these things spill into other states. My point remains.)

Denny's? Not so much.

But that's just my $0.02.

Al Amir does have excellent pizza. I also like Z Pizza for organic/healthy pizza, which is still excellent.

On a somewhat related note, do any of you Yelp? If so, I'd love to read some of your reviews if you want to PM me your email address. It's helped me uncover some real gems out there, and even assisted me in choosing the sweet potato crunch at Bucky's in Greenville yesterday.
