Hope you enjoy your time here. Richland county favored you in both the primary and general elections.

Yes, indeed. I only wish he had been here a couple or three times since then. I am honored for my city.

From WLTX:
Quote:
South Carolina is one of three states Obama hasn't visited as President: South Dakota and Utah are the others.
That's interesting. I see he is talking at 2:15. Does anyone anticipate trouble getting to the Clarion on Gervais around 3:30 if I go from N. Columbia?

The mere fact that he has not come prior to now should be seen as offensive, even to you bootlickers.

Simple minds.....

Yes we did and if you totaled the votes from the 6 county Columbia MSA, he won metro Columbia in both elections, too.

He's a busy man. A small manufacturing state can run on its own with the tariffs he slapped
On China.

Did anybody watch the Q&A session after his speech? Embarrassing! The best question came from a 10 year old boy. The rest were fairly idiotic.

I was amazed that some folks were angry that he even came to Columbia.. Politics aside.. why wouldnt any State or City want the POTUS to visit regardless of your political party or politics or WHO the person is in office...? Atleast the Governor had sense enough to leave politics out of it. If she snubbed the President it would have been one more media frenzy to cast a negative light on the Palmetto State....

Did he land at CAE and motorcade into Columbia? I doubt Owens Field could handle AF One....LOL
