Sorry, you're the one who's ignorant. It wasn't too long ago children died from diseases that are now just a memory. My grandmother's sister died from measles. My mother's friend's daughter died from polio.


When my dd was about 6, she asked "polio, what's that?" To think in my lifetime, I went from fearing the great crippler/ killer of children to children who have never even heard of such.....

I'm pretty ignorant on this particular subject but why would anyone reject immunization shots? Are there any advantages?

Not really. I'd say that'd be one less doctor bill, but if your child ends up getting sick...

There are some fringe groups who think vaccines cause things like autism, or the government uses it to track people, etc. There is absolutely no evidence to support their assertions, it is mainly just conspiracy theory stuff.

I know. He was asking if there were positives. But you are right. This reminds me of the government fluoride water conspiracy.
