Maybe I didn't give it enough of a chance -- I've only been to one once, and all I got was some kind of pasta dish, so maybe the other selections are better. Either way, I think it will be a while before we have one here, LOL.
I had a great waitress on my first visit. I picked a pasta dish and she said "this is your first visit? May I suggest a different pasta dish that I think you'll enjoy more?" and told me why I might not enjoy the one I originally selected.

Was either dish some kind of chipotle chicken pasta? That's what I had and didn't like it...
Im not holding my breath on old town. IMO, it won't be anything more than a new housing development with some small stores to give it a "folksy" feel. I know of a few possible tenants that turned them down because they fear once the novelty wears off they will only be serviced by the residents. Remember the Williams road revamping is at least 4-8 years away.
Peachtree is in a prime location due to the growth of Gateway and Lakeside as well as growth in the technology park and down forrest rd.
OldRiverRd, just out of curiosity, who were the tenants who turned down the offer to locate at Old Towne?

No - it was a shrimp dish. I'm a big seafood fan.
Yesterday was my b'day and I went there again for dinner, since I'm still traveling for work. Had appetizers for dinner - the warm crab and artichoke dip and the fire grilled artichoke. Both were really good.

Honestly, Peachtree Mall is so dated and "blah" that it's not even funny. In addition to makeovers (both external and internal), the mall could really benefit from having more upscale vendors as tenants (e.g., Williams & Sonoma, J. Crew, Banana Republic, Sephora, etc.).
Yes, I agree as well. I get tired of having to travel to Atlanta area to go to these places.
Thank you for your comments on our old, but beloved, Macon Mall. Did you go inside after you ate? They carpeted the interior so it's really quiet, and they also added a second story above the food court to allow for more food vendors there.
