They are also building a new senior living facility farther north on 27 at the Corner of 27 and Pierce Chapel. It is a new Magnolia Manor facility. The zoning was approved a few months back.

Here is the info on the Old Town facility https://www.ledger-enquirer.com/news...178574611.html

Tidal Wave Car Wash is being developed across from Old Town. Redevelopment of the old Goo-Goo. Nice improvement and addition to that property.

In other news. Best Buy is moving to the old HHGregg building. Should be there by June from what I heard. Someone on here mentioned that the old sears was purchased and being converted to a type of Dave and busters thing. Any truth to that? I haven’t been able to find anything about that building being sold.

Thank God! The current location is about as horrible a location as Home Depot. I really struggle to understand why anyone would build in those locations!

What?

If Best Buy needs to move away from a highly traffic expressway and interstate, then the location is not the problem.

I was told all Best Buy stores are downsizing. The good news is the new location will have a Magnolia theater inside which is their higher end equipment.

Hate to see one property close and move to a vacant space. It’s a net zero. What will be done with that huge Best Buy building?
