The zoo is a great place to start. There is also a water park there.

A great, beautiful place for shopping is Easton Town Center Moderator cut: link removedOther great malls are Polaris and Tuttle.

Any areas to stay away from .....these will be pretty obvious. If you are driving through there, and don't want to get out of the car, you are probably right.

Easton and Polaris are great shopping areas. The zoo gets better every year. You could also look into Fort Rapids, a huge waterpark.

If you want the shopping, food and hotel then that would be Easton. Also if going to the Zoo, a lot of good food on Sawmill Rd.
