Anyone attending this college? I would like to hear your thoughts on this school, the programs and the teachers.
One of the things I didn't particularly care for is that even though I am basically moving to Columbus to take a course there, for the 1st year, I have to pay out of state tuition.
This is the first time I have encountered this. Is that normal for a college to do?
Either way, if anyone is attending the school, I want to hear from you.

If you are moving in from out of state than yes, it is absolutely the norm to pay out of state tuition. Most students try to find some way around it, though. When I moved to Missouri had it not been for a scholarship I would have paid out of state for the first 2 semesters. My SO graduated from UMich and I believe OOS absolutely 100% pay OOS tuition, no way around it.
