Read the article. It had nothing to do with slumlords, but rather potential return on investment in a high-demand city with strong population growth.

Oops, I meant great for rental property owners, not property owners in general.

And good news for the closed, historic Valley Dale- It will get a major renovation and reopen.

Brewery District 6 story self-storage | ColumbusUnderground.com

A 6-story self-storage building is being proposed for the southeast corner of Liberty and Short Street in the Brewery District. It would have 700 units and is somewhat similar to the one under construction on Long in Downtown.

Lockbourne Rd has a new (well, new to me) bar called Two Shots which has lived up to its name; two shots were fired and two people were injured. Just look at what a great job the city has done with Lockbourne; the Millennials are just tripping over themselves to be in a city as vibrant as Columbus. Ooh, and there's a Family Dollar across the street, I think I might have to buy a one-way ticket there after all. But seriously, the new(er) Dawghouse Pizza and Bar sounds like the best thing to recently happen to this street in like, ever. But don't let me get you too riled up, cuz I'm sure you could fill a whole page writing up all of the great stuff on Columbus' signature Lockbourne Rd.

Anyway...

LC Proposes Five-Story Mixed-Use Project for Main and Front Downtown | ColumbusUnderground.com

Another RiverSouth announcement, this time for the northwest corner of Main and S. Front. 5 stories with 117 residential units and ground floor retail. The existing 3-story building from 1900 will be preserved, so that's good. The rest of the site is largely a surface lot. I wish it was taller, but I do like the design.

A cool before and after gif of the Scioto River downtown that shows the changes made for the Greenways project.

Three (Four) questions:

Where the heck is Lockbourne Road?

Why the heck should I care as this is not close to the only street in Columbus? (um, FYI, this isn't a one stop light town compared to MSP's two... oh, that's actually one for Minneapolis and the other for Saint Paul, right? )

Is this even relevant to the purpose of this particular thread?

While I know I'm probably feeding a troll, let's just say that those could or could not be rhetorical in nature.
