Is Easton Town Center in Gahanna? If it is not, what is that area called? How safe is this area?

Easton is in Columbus. With some nearby neighborhoods in Gahanna. It is a safe area. The area right around Easton and to the east of Easton are very suburban and safe. There are a lot of apartments around there and in the nearby Gahanna.

If you go just a few miles SW or West (along Morse Rd. called Northland neighborhood) you enter some very middle class areas with some mixed incomes including immigrants. However, there is nothing around or near Easton very unsafe. The two areas I mentioned are a little diverse urban in makeup. Easton is a good area to live if you want something suburban but with near a lot of shopping and entertainment like movies, comedy club, or shadow box.

Easton is a great place to shop or eat and there are some bars where you can meet someone as a young professional. However, the areas around downtown are still where the arts culture, fine local restaurant scene, and hoping bars and clubs are. Easton is not around downtown, but is not far away. Personally, I prefer (as a young professional myself) to live in the central city/Grandview or downtown areas and if I ever feel like making a big shopping trip I then go to Easton once every few months. You just need to decide if you want a more suburban or urban neighborhood.
