We are moving to Upper Arlington and are wondering about the Catholic Churches in the area near Upper Arlington. I am not catholic, but my wife and children are. She likes beautiful buildings etc., I like casual, kid friendly type services (not sure that is available in the catholic church). We are need to get the kids in a 1st communion type class. We are not interested in Catholic schools as we will do public schools.I looked on Yelp but couldn't get a feel for the choices. Any descriptions/recommendations of what is available in the area, would be much appreciated! Thanks!!

There are two catholic parishes within Upper Arlington - St. Agatha and St. Andrew. St. Agatha is the older of the two, but both are good parishes, with St. Andrew probably being a little bigger. Just south of the Upper Arlington border in Marble Cliff is Our Lady of Victory - it's absolutely beatiful, a very old stone church with neat architecture. Smaller parish, but has seen an uptick in popularity of late as I understand.

St. Margaret of Cortona is just outside of Upper Arlington -- less than a mile to the west on Hague Ave, just south of Trabue. I'm not a Catholic so I don't know anything about it, but it's near my house and thought I would mention it.
