i live in frederick md now and want to move to columbus, do think the job market is better out there compared to this area assuming you would no thanks

You should also check out New Albany, a suburb NE of Columbus. You will have about a 10-15 minute commute to OSU/Downtown and many other areas via 270 outerbelt. The taxes are a little higher than other parts of Cols., but the schools are award winning and outstanding.

We recently relocated to Alabama for a job transfer but lived in New Albany for the last 3 years. They have just recently completed a performing arts center right next to the learning campuses. There are many walking trails and parks in many of the neighborhoods.

We lived in the Windsor subdivision, right across from the elem school (off of 605). There were plenty of children in the neighborhood and it is a close knit community. Check out our house that we have for sale:

Also, check out the state school report cards. This will be more than helpful to decide on schools in all areas. It was extremely helpful to us when we relocated to New Albany in 2005:
