I have mp3 files and a few mp4, mpeg4 files with music, Will there be any problems if I burn these songs to a CD since they not the same kind of files? What are usual problems by doing this?

There will be no problems, assuming your application can play those formats in the first place. Just make a playlist with the songs in the order you want, and make an audio CD - the app will convert the files to CD audio format for use in a normal CD player. The mpeg format may not work, but give it a shot - you may need an audio-only version of the song. Just be mindful - in CD audio format you typically only have 70-80 minutes based on the capacity of the CD.

Have you tried one? If you start Nero and select bur an audio CD, it will convert all the files to CD audio as it burns.

Should be no problem although if you are using something like windows media player to burn i often have problems with the audio cd playing. I wound up using roxio or nero.

it's the opposite for me, nero says cannot read files for mp4, but I'm able to burn mp3s and mp4s to CD using windows media player

if you are using nero 10 or an earlier version i believe some mp4s will need to be recoded to mp2 or nero digital. I havent used nero in a long time so im not sure about that. I actually like roxio a lot.
