If you have DDR3 memory in your computer, how do you determine if the specific DDR3 type is UDIMM, RDIMM, or LRDIMM? None of the usual programs I have used so far to try to determine this kind of info (e.g., running msinfo32.exe, using CPU-Z, or using the Belarc Advisor) have been able to tell me this information, on at least one of my test server boxes.
Short of contacting the computer manufacturer directly, is there a way a person can easily get this information, regarding their installed DDR3 memory modules?
If it's a regular desktop, then you have a 99.9999% chance it's a regular DIMM module. The only time you would see RDIMMs or UDIMMs would be high-end workstations or servers.
