Same here ... the 680 outperforms or matches a number of those cards:

Nvidia's numbering system is a bit weird, but essentially the second number is as important as the first (or possibly more important).

The first represents the Series or Generation of the card, and the second is the "Range". A higher Range card in on older series will generally outperform or match a a lower Range in a newer Series.

Based on that, I'd avoid the 5 Range cards, and stick with the 6, or above (the higher the better to a degree).

GTX-780 Here.

Never had more issues with drivers and random video hickups than with Radeon cards. Even some of the more recent ones were a headache. This problem stretches all the way back to the old ATI days.

The only card from this company that I enjoyed was the ATI All-in-wonder card (loved that card so much...)

Pretty much matches my experiences (including the All in Wonder, and a TV Wonder Pro). Catalyst has been nothing but a pain in almost every instance that I've used it.

X3 on the ATI/AMD drivers, they have been flaky for years, My gaming box is fed Nvidia.
